This work depicts the High Empress, the leader of the fictional planet Shinnen in the story of COSMICPUNK, immersed in a folk dance ritual. The ritual celebrates the waxing and waning of the crimson moon Luna, and the people are enthusiastic about the dance. The celebration celebrates the discovery of the creator gods Primus (the cat) and Sparrow and the dark sun Dark Sun, and depicts a night full of passion and joy. The artwork proclaims the importance of respecting our diverse values ​​and beliefs and our differences. The unknown and mysterious presence of Dark Sun in the story is a powerful metaphor for the way we search for our meaning in life, that is, our purpose. On the other hand, Primus (the cat) and Sparrow symbolize myths that evoke our deep-rooted ancient traditions and beliefs. Through this contrast, the work conveys the need to remain rooted in our rich cultural heritage while looking to the future.

Stories connect us. India, the world's largest country with a population of 1.4 billion, is a country where diverse cultures, languages, and religions coexist. India has different myths and stories for each region and religion, which are deeply rooted in people's daily lives and spiritual lives. For example, festivals such as Diwali and Holi originate from ancient myths and are celebrated by the entire community. Such events promote the formation of identity, deepen mutual understanding between different communities, and bring harmony to society.

In big cities that have experienced rapid economic growth, such as Delhi and Mumbai, modern lifestyles are widespread and large shopping malls and entertainment facilities are abundant. However, with modernization due to globalization and technological development, young people have fewer opportunities to come into contact with their unique traditional culture and ancient myths and stories. This situation is also seen in Japan in recent years. Passing on one's own culture to the next generation while maintaining a balance between tradition and innovation is a global challenge, not just for India and Japan. Against the backdrop of these challenges, BOOMRANNG has created a modern myth called "COSMICPUNK". They depict the essence and emotions of humans that have not changed from ancient times to the present, and show values ​​that resonate with us today. We hope that through this exhibition, the hope for the future that they have put into their works will reach many people.
