Ejiri is currently located in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City . The subject of this work is the strong winds of Mount Fuji . Mount Fuji in the background is depicted only as a ridgeline, as in a sumi-e painting, and in the foreground, people are crouching in a U-shape to withstand the sudden gust of wind , umbrellas and paper are blown away, and bending tree branches are depicted . As with " Sekiya Village on the Sumida River ," the sense of movement and speed is created by using the curved , turn-around path , the ground with the raw surface of washi paper remaining horizontally , and the integrating of these with the mist.
