作品説明
This piece was created to pray for good connections and prosperity, and the pattern resembles a cluster of leaves and flowers. It is painted so as to completely cover the Daruma doll. This is a classic pattern that TAKERU IWAZAKI likes to use .
Every spring, an exhibition of Daruma dolls made in Shizuoka City is held, and this piece was created for that occasion .

TAKERU IWAZAKI
An artist based in Shizuoka. He began his work influenced by street culture and experimental abstract hip hop. Inspired by natural phenomena such as the flow of water and the appearance of trees, he focuses on the theme of "FLOW," which gives the viewer a sense of immersion, and collects the energy emitted by all things into flowing lines. His drawings are characterized by intricately expanding lines that resonate with each other as if in a session, with black as the base color. He has presented his work across a wide range of media, including solo exhibitions, murals, live painting, and collaborations with DJs and fashion brands.
